The Bunny Who Was Afraid of the Dark

At the edge of a quiet meadow, near a soft and sleepy forest, lived a little bunny named Milo.

Milo was fluffy, gentle, and very polite.
He loved carrots, morning sunshine, and warm hugs.

But there was one thing Milo feared more than anything else.

The dark.

🌙 When Night Arrived

Every evening, when the sun slowly slipped away and the sky turned blue, Milo’s heart began to beat faster.

The trees looked taller.
The shadows looked longer.
Even the grass seemed to whisper.

Milo quickly ran back to his burrow and hid under his blanket of dry leaves.

“I don’t like the dark,” he whispered.
“It feels too big… and too quiet.”

✨ A Small Light Appears

One night, as Milo peeked outside, he noticed something new.

Tiny lights were dancing in the grass.

Fireflies.

They glowed softly — not bright, not loud — just gentle dots of gold floating in the night.

One firefly landed near Milo.

“Why are you hiding?” it asked kindly.

“I’m scared,” Milo said honestly.
“I can’t see what’s out there.”

🌟 The Night Is Not Empty

The firefly glowed a little brighter.

“The dark isn’t empty,” it said.
“It’s just resting.”

Slowly, more fireflies appeared.
They floated around Milo, lighting the path softly.

Milo took one small step outside.

Nothing scary happened.

He heard crickets singing.
He saw stars blinking like friendly eyes.
The moon smiled quietly above.

🌙 A Brave Little Hop

With each step, Milo felt braver.

The dark didn’t chase him.
The shadows didn’t hurt him.
They simply stayed still.

Milo realized something important.

The dark wasn’t dangerous.
It was gentle.

It was time for the world to sleep.

đź’¤ Sweet Dreams, Milo

Milo returned to his burrow and curled up comfortably.

“This isn’t so bad,” he smiled.
“The dark feels like a blanket.”

Outside, the fireflies continued to glow.
Inside, Milo drifted into a peaceful sleep.

And from that night on, Milo was never afraid of the dark again.

Because he learned —
sometimes, the dark is just quiet kindness.
